Bandai Namco Officially Announces New Game 'Dragon Ball Legends' For Mobile Devices

It seems that Bandai Namco is not only interested in developing the Dragon Ball anime adaptation game for consoles and PCs, as they are currently reportedly developing a Dragon Ball game for mobile devices. The official announcement was finally released at Google's Developer Conference, where Bandai Namco officially announced the online 3D fighter game titled Dragon Ball Legends.

In addition to the certainty of its release for the Android and iOS platforms, not many other leaked details are shared. But Bandai Namco still ensure that original characters such as Goku, Freeza, Nappa, and Piccolo will be present as a playable character. Not long after this announcement, Kowai's Twitter account also managed to show the first gameplay sightings that you can directly see below.

From the appearance of the above gameplay, it seems this game brings a pretty gameplay concept similar to Dragon Ball Xenoverse series. It's just that the vertical viewing angle that is offered is still the same as most other mobile games. Especially seeing a series of commands and skills that you can access easily, it seems this game does not require a strategy that is too complicated play. Not without the challenge of course, because Bandai Namco implements Google's Cloud Platform feature to support competitive online mode access and can reach more players.

Because it is still in the early development stage, unfortunately, Dragon Ball Legends still not get the certainty release date. Given the popularity of the popular Dragon Ball franchise in the western region, chances are this game will also be released globally.
