Artifact Dota Card Game Already Appears on Steam, Will It Release Faster?
Yesterday had circulated the appearance of gameplay from Artifact, card game that uses the story Dota 2 as the background. Previously Valve through the 2017 International Tournament it was announced that they will release a new game related to Dota 2 and the game is this Artifact.
The appearance of the gameplay itself is arguably still unclear; one of them because most of the recordings in circulation are recording from an HP camera to a computer screen. Even so through some of these leaks, little by little has begun to reveal how the gameplay of this Dota 2 card game.
Well, like not wanting to lose the hype from fans, Valve was recently turned out to include Artifact into the page Steam. Interestingly, this Artifact page seems hidden and not easy for you to find.
Well, on this page Steam you can see some screenshots of gameplay from Artifact. Then if the status of this game can be played or not, of course not yet. It only says 'Available 2018' (available 2018), without any additional explanation in it. But the emergence of Artifact in the Steam page is certainly enough to bring speculation, is it possible Artifact will be released faster than planned?
Some time ago Valve while announcing Artifact gameplay in a closed, they also announced about the release plan of this game. Through the closed event, the Lord Gaben said that the Artifact is planned to be released in December this year. Artifact made this one of the reasons is to explore more deeply the world of story Dota 2. The presence of this Artifact also gives space to create a new character concept that is still associated with hero in Dota.
Quoting from itus theflyingcourier.com, there will be some characters in Artifact that you have never seen in Dota; such as a character named Sorla Khan who was told as the commander of Ax substitute in the Red Mist Army. Maybe later the hero in the Artifact will also appear in Dota 2, or vice versa, appear in Dota first and then appear in the Artifact.
Back to the issue of release date, again the only information that appears only, Artifact will be officially released in December 2018 this. If in the near future, the most likely speculation is that close beta access may be present in about 2 or 3 months ahead. Related to that, unfortunately, Valve has yet to release an Artifact gameplay trailer that is certainly very interesting to look at.
